Copper Wire Theft FJ17-138

Fort St John RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance to help solve a theft of Copper Wire from BC Hydro.  On January 5, 2017 BC HYDRO reported to the Fort St John RCMP that a substantial amount of copper wire was stolen from two work sites in Fort St John.

One location was Alaska HWY and the East Bypass Rd and the second location was the railroad crossing bridge in Baldonnel.

The theft was believed to have occurred sometime between January 2 – 5.

Anyone with information on this matter are asked to contact the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
