DC RCMP seek public assistance in October hit and run

Nov 22, 2016

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – The Dawson Creek RCMP are asking for help from the public in identifying the driver from a pedestrian hit and run that happened back in October.

On October 26, 2016 a male was struck by a truck in front of the north doors at the Safeway in Dawson Creek.

The alleged victims mom spoke to Energeticcity.ca at the start of November saying that her son Bradley, was in bad shape after being hit.

After he was hit, the truck went north through the Safeway parking lot with speed then turned east between Safeway and the Dawson Creek Mall. Witnesses weren’t able to see a license plate on the vehicle.

Police say the driver is described as:

  • Slim
  • Younger male with glasses
  • Short blond hair
  • Shaved face

Witnesses have described the vehicle as a blue truck (likely a Dodge), lifted with black tires and black wheels.

The vehicle also struck a shopping cart after hitting the man and police believe there will be some damage to the front of the vehicle.

Anyone with information on this incident are asked to call the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250 784 3700 or Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 8477.
