Hit & Run – Police Seek Witnesses FJ16-12535

On November 23, 2016, at 10:45 p.m. the Fort St John RCMP received a report that earlier in the evening, around 5:30 p.m. a pedestrian who was crossing the road at the corner of 86th Street and 93rd Avenue was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene.

The caller advised that the suspect vehicle may have been a black Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) driven by an unknown woman.

The caller did not pay much attention to the possible suspect vehicle as their attention was focussed on the wellbeing of the pedestrian.

Police believe their may have been several other witnesses to this incident and are seeking their assistance in this investigation.
