On November 5th 2015, Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a complaint of shots fired in the 1500 block of 99th avenue in Dawson Creek.Investigation reveals that an individual approached a residence and fired three shotgun rounds into the house. Police seized the residence for investigation and are in the process of conducting a forensic examination of the residence.Three men were escorted from the residence. On October 24th 2015, Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a complaint of a kidnapping and aggravated assault. Upon arrival police learned that a 31 year old male had been taken at gunpoint from the Taylor Pub, transported to Dawson Creek where he was beaten, bear sprayed and stabbed in the legs. The male managed to escape and ran to a nearby residence where he called for ambulance. The victim was taken to hospital where he received medical treatment. Police utilized police dog services and conducted a back track of the male which resulted in locating the residence where the assault took place. A thorough forensic examination of the property was conducted. Unfortunately once again, the victim is not being cooperative with police, which is hampering this investigation.

Police are not able to confirm whether or not the two incidents are connected at this time, but are asking the public for assistance in this matter.
