Attempted Home Invasion/Shots Fired – Dawson Creek

On September 25, 2015 at 5:57 a.m. the Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of several people attempting to force their way into a residence in the 1000 block of 118th Ave, in Dawson Creek.

Multiple officers immediately responded, but while on route to the scene, they received updated information that shots were now being fired at the residence.

Officers arrived on scene to find several shots had been fired at the residence while people were inside, but fortunately enough, no one was injured.

Police believe this to be a targeted incident as individuals associated to the residence in question are suspected to be involved in the drug trade.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or any vehicles or persons leaving this area, to contact the Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700, or if you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers.
